Refreshing my lighting skill

Last nite, Me got a chance going out for photography season with my friends Putat from Kuching and Ramlan from Saratok. Ramlan, drove all the way from Saratok which took him nearly 2 hours drive and then drove back to Saratok again around 11pm last nite. Last nite shoots were to refresh my memory about lighting skills which i learned from Ted Adnan’s Lighting blog (with bad grammars) and such…

Using 1 x sb900 shoot thru 18" softbox. Noted the lighting effect on the face.

using 2 flashes. 1 on the left and 1 on the right.

What about if no flash?

You just can see the "bokeh" light at the background but not the subject infront. So to balance the lighting, we use 2 flashes to make the handsome model look handsome. Me? I just the person behind the camera.
